By using Canvas Brain, you agree to these terms of service.

Description of Service

Canvas Brain is a Chrome extension that helps students access and interact with their Canvas LMS course content through an AI-powered chat interface.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for your use of the extension
• You must have authorized access to any Canvas content you access through the extension
• You agree to use the service in compliance with your institution's policies
• You agree not to use Canvas Brain in violation of Canvas's Terms of Service or any applicable terms of service from Instructure, Inc. Users must comply with all Canvas terms of service, including but not limited to restrictions on automated access, data scraping, and use of Canvas content. Any use of Canvas Brain that violates Canvas's terms of service is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of your account.

Academic Integrity - No Cheating Policy

Canvas Brain does not allow cheating. Users are strictly prohibited from using Canvas Brain to:

• Submit AI-generated work as their own without proper attribution
• Bypass academic integrity policies or honor codes
• Use the service to complete assignments in ways that violate their institution's policies

Users must comply with their institution's academic integrity policies and use Canvas Brain as a study tool and assistant, not as a means to cheat or plagiarize. Violations may result in account termination.

Limitation of Liability

The extension is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for any consequences of using AI-generated content.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
